"Eye for an Eye" is the first single release from the second full-length album by The Phantom of Phobos. The song grooves quite a lot heavier compared to their previous cinematic-styled “The Uninvited” EP. Audio salutes are sent to Alice in Chains, John Carpenter and Nine Inch Nails.

- The story of Eye for an Eye draws inspiration from the psychological sci-fi-horror visions of Philip K. Dick and the sweetness of revenge. Man versus nature, nature versus man - the farther the journey proceeds from Tellus, the more horrifying the situation develops.
- The song goes straight to the point with a heavy rhythm pattern of the chorus. To counter heaviness, the verse grows creepingly and harmonies bring in smooth gloominess. In the middle part, even more pressure is applied with the help of guitar melodies and synthesizer arpeggios. The pressures stops temporarily - only to build up more energy for the culmination.
"Eye for an Eye" is digitally available on 15.7.2020. The song is accompanied by a chilling lyric video edited and produced by Jenni Kantis, who was also responsible for the previous Phobos’ lyric video “The Uninvited”. Mixing is done by Mirko Nosari / Bunkker Universe and mastering by Mika Jussila / Finnvox Studios.
